It comes as UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called for a "massive response" to help the country.
The category-four storm is believed to have killed as many as 900 Haitians.
A devastating Cat 4 hurricane - Matthew blew over the northwestern peninsula of Haiti on Tuesday with wind speeds approaching 145-MPH. In its wake was left devastation like ones not seen since the earthquake of 2010, flooding, mudslides, loss of roofs, building and life were vast. The grinding misery of this hemisphere's poorest country - Haiti is once again being reflected upon after this massive storm wreaks havoc over the countryside. The photo above is one of the schools; located in Bombardopolis - Haiti, that was totally destroyed by hurricane Mathew. To just simply state, the people of Bombardopolis lost everything would do an injustice to those who survived. An immediate need for Food, Water, Clothes, Medicine, and Shelters are vast and are in short supply.
